Phaedran Project

After the death of Cor'Zanth Aren, Malan was the sole surviving fully qualified Chronicler left in the colony. So many had either succumbed to the various maladies that seemed to run rife on Grid at times. They had simply disappeared one day and were never heard from again.

Others gradually withdrew into their own lives, ever more seldom taking part in Phaedran life until they too failed to appear.

Some moved away to other parts of Grid where the other settlements, although suffering the same problems as the Phaedran colony, still continued.

So that the entire story of the colonies on Grid could be preserved, Malan began to document as much as she could of the time between the fall and her retirement.

These records were scattered around Phaedran and Zanith to keep them safe. Her reasons for this were well founded and are explained in the later records.
